The Historic Boyle Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles is rich in culture and tradition and has a long legacy of community action. Join the Boyle Heights Farmers Market and Several Boyle Heights vendors who will be on hand
to bring you organic fresh fruits and vegetables, hot foods, prepackaged nuts and legumes, and a
variety of jewelry by artisans. The farmers’ market will operate every Friday from 3:00 – 8:00
p.m.
This fun-filled event is the perfect family destination for families every Friday evening. Families
can take advantage of purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables directly from farmers, enjoy a nice
meal, and partake in the live entertainment.

- TOP COP
(Teaching On Policing–Communities On Patrol)
The T.O.P - C.O.P. Program was developed to help at-risk and under-motivated youth
become positive contributors in their community.
- Good News Kids Program
A comprehensive leadership development program for youth, that utilizes digital video
production to help teach leadership skills and improve competence in many academic
subjects.
- Learning and Leadership Development Center
The program assists youth ages 12-18 in developing meaningful and achievable
academic, career, and personal goals.
- Sports for Kids
This program provides at-risk and high-risk boys and girls, ages 5-18, with a wide variety
of activities as positive alternatives to the dangers of the streets
- Get it Straight
Is a twelve-week delinquency prevention and intervention training program for youth
ages 11-18. The program requires that parents attend each weekly session with their
son/daughter. Program participants are involved in a comprehensive curriculum
combining classroom instruction, personal development, conflict resolution skills,
and communication exercises. In addition, field trips to juvenile detention centers are
routinely scheduled to give youth a first-hand look at the inevitable consequences of
criminal activity.
